Interferon (IFN)-regulated genes (IRG) are upregulated in the blood, muscle, and skin of patients with JDM and adult dermatomyositis (DM) and correlate with disease activity, although the exact source, mechanism, and role of IFN remain unclear and detailed assessments by MSA group are lacking. Although the etiology of JDM is presently unknown, multiple genetic and environmental factors contribute. ![]() Myositis-specific autoantibodies (MSA) define phenotypic features and prognosis within JDM, with anti-TIF1, anti-NXP2, and anti-MDA5 autoantibodies being the most common MSA groups in JDM. Juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM) is a complex autoimmune disease characterized by weakness and rashes. This may reflect both a shared IFN signature, which is driven by IFN-β and STING pathways in SAVI, as well as the shared phenotype of vasculopathy in SAVI and JDM, particularly in anti-MDA5 autoantibody-positive JDM, and indicate potential therapeutic targets for JDM. Anti-MDA5 autoantibody-positive JDM IRG-S were notably more similar to SAVI. Our findings demonstrate peripheral IRG expression in JDM overlaps with monogenic interferonopathies, particularly SAVI, and correlates with disease activity. Weakness and joint disease activity (multinomial OR 0.91 and 3.3) were the best predictors of high IRG-S. IRG-S correlated moderately with JDM disease activity measures ( r s = 0.33–0.47) and more strongly with skin activity ( r s = 0.58–0.79) in anti-TIF1 autoantibody-positive patients. Overall, the contribution of individual interferon-regulated genes (IRG) in JDM was more similar to SAVI. ![]() The IFI27 proportion was significantly higher in SAVI and CANDLE than JDM, but IFIT1 contributed more to IRG-S in JDM. Among MSA groups, anti-MDA5 autoantibody-positive patients’ IRG-S overlapped most with SAVI. JDM IRG-S overlapped more with SAVI than CANDLE by PCA. IRG-S in JDM patients were significantly higher than in HC but lower than in CANDLE or SAVI. IRG-S were correlated with disease assessments and patient characteristics. Principal component analysis (PCA) was performed, and individual genes were evaluated for their contribution to the score. MethodsĪ peripheral 28-component IRG-S assessed by NanoString™ in 57 JDM patients subtyped by MSA was compared with IRG-S in healthy controls (HC) and CANDLE/SAVI patients. The phenotypic overlap of some clinical features of CANDLE and SAVI with JDM led to the comparison of a standardized interferon-regulated gene score (IRG-S) in JDM and myositis-specific autoantibody (MSA) JDM subgroups, with CANDLE and SAVI. The Mendelian autoinflammatory interferonopathies, Chronic Atypical Neutrophilic Dermatosis with Lipodystrophy and Elevated temperature (CANDLE) and STING-Associated Vasculopathy with onset in Infancy (SAVI), are caused by genetic mutations and have extremely elevated IFN signatures thought to drive pathology. Juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM) is a systemic autoimmune disease with a prominent interferon (IFN) signature, but the pathogenesis of JDM and the etiology of its IFN signature remain unknown. Sooner or later, there may be breaking changes in Sketchup that make older 3DXWare drivers completely useless. ![]() Typically, Trimble releases a new Sketchup year version around the end of each year. The newest driver that I have confirmed to not suffer from the issue described above is from 2018: The only workaround I know is using older drivers. This issue affects at least these driver versions: I use Sketchup 2020, but this same issue occurs also with all earlier Sketchup versions I have checked, e.g.: The issue is clearly illustrated in Jwhidas video here. The result should at all times just sum the two input vectors.Īnd yes, this is the exact same issue as jwhida, the original poster, describes above. Users' justified expectation would instead be that the 3DConnexion driver behaved as it did up to late 2018: when inputs from the two devices point in the same direction, the viewport result pulls in the same direction, and faster than if only one input were active. This behaviour, besides not being what users expect, is very distracting and unpleasant, and renders simultaneous device navigation, especially zooming, effectively unusable. It looks as if one device were pulling inwards and another were pulling outwards, even though inputs in fact are towards the same direction. The Sketchup viewport behaves as if the two devices were constantly fighting for priority instead of cooperating. When you zoom in on both devices, or zoom out on both devices, the whole viewport shudders, quakes, and jerks about violently, as if it were having an epileptic seizure. The issue is seen most clearly when using the spacemouse to zoom while simultaneously using the standard three-button mousewheel to zoom. The issue consists in 3DConnexion's 3DXWare driver conflicting with native Sketchup navigation. The issue started around the beginning of 2019. This makes as much sense as using both hands to steer a bicycle. The best way to navigate in Sketchup is to use both a standard mouse and a spacemouse concurrently. Veteran Sketchup users navigate frequently and aggressively. ![]() Therefore, fast and controlled mouse navigation is especially important in Sketchup. In contrast to many other 3D modelling applications, Sketchup has only one viewport. It is much faster and gives much more control than only using one device at a time. This helps momentarily boost the navigation. I typically use the classical standard 3DConnexion spacemouse with the latest version of Sketchup Pro.Ī very frequent user behaviour is to navigate the model using both the spacemouse and the standard mouse at the same time. I have always encouraged my students to acquire a 3DConnection spacemouse. I regularly teach Sketchup to companies and higher education, meeting hundreds of users every year. Since 2014, I am an avid user of 3DConnexion spacemice, thank you! Why Can’t I Cast My iPad to My Chromecast? You can swipe through slides on your iPad to change the one displayed on the screen. Let's do the "hello world" to test that everything works as expected. So we can migrate our config piece by piece and only change from init.vim to a when we are ready. The first thing you need to know is that we can embed lua code directly in init.vim. Everything that I will show should work on every system in which neovim can be installed, just keep in mind that the path to the init.vim file might be different in your case. I will assume your operating system is linux (or something close to it) and that your configuration is located at ~/.config/nvim/init.vim. What I want to do is teach you enough about lua and the neovim api so you can migrate your own configuration. Also, this won't be a tutorial on "how to turn neovim into an IDE", I'll avoid anything that is language specific.
